First, I want to say I like Alex Jones, but I have more professionalism in journalism school.
This would be something I'd expect to see after an episode of In Search of Bigfoot or Ancient Aliens. Between the way he was interviewing locals and his knowledge of the subject he was reporting on would have gotten him a C- quality, but an A+ for courage in his infiltration of the event. Like I said in the beginning, I am a fan of his, and his journalism skills has become excellent.
As far as the quality of the recordings, you have to realize the equipment available then and it had to be done covertly.

This is worth watching,if you like seeing someone go undecover to film the Elite in secrect and find out what these people are up too.

The first half of the film is conversations between Alex Jones and various people including a channel 4 crew who have a map, its very exciting.

Then they get into this place,if you know anything about some of the members ( not all ) you will know the risk they were taking.

Whatever is going on there, is not the kind of thing I would want to see,they seem to think its some kind of musical with the singing.

All these group, Masons, skull and bones etc have these strange perveted ideas and rituals. But what I have found, from knowing a mason and watching this and reading, is that not all members are aware of what they are doing there !

My instincts are good and they say the people orgainsing this are sickos.

I've watched this video just once. There is some inaccuracies, flawed thinking, and people he mentions but he never gives the names I'll explain later in the review. I am an person knows about rituals and it shames me to think that the cremation of care is an ritual. Let me give you an observation of the cremation of care. Now one of the parts in rituals is that you don't clap, clapping dissipates the energy used in the ritual. Second mistake on the cremation of care ritual is the small majority performing the ritual, if the cult is consist of a bunch of people they wouldn't be sitting down on the benches, instead they would be helping.Third mistake of the fake ritual is the fact that they don't mention any deity or demonic name instead they mentioned trees and stars which is mostly environmental stuff. Alex Jones also mentions that there are these occult experts who said that they are doing a real human sacrifice but the documentary never gives out who is being sacrifice or who are these occult experts.

Here is a list on why it should be avoided like the plague

#1 Alex Jones consist on having the camera on like its the blair witch movie, blatantly he never shows the face of the people who are in the bohemian grove.

#2 He states that he is being stopped by security personnel, if Alex was so consistant on this videos the security personnel would have thrown him out instead he goes on without being carded to see he is a NWO member.

#3 He saids that when he was video taping the site the men in security personnel came again and ask that are you doing, he said we are just filming as part of the members of the bohemian grove. Now when he finishes the statement i might add that he said that there are hidden cameras, if there were cameras they would be outside not inside the bohemian grove is not Walmart.

#4 Alex Jones said that children were sacrificed by an owl in Babylon this can be stated to be untrue as many states that animals were sacrificed usually an ox to appease the gods.there is one vague reference to not sacrificing your children to moloch in the old testament but they don't describe him and he is never mentioned again.

#5 Alex Jones mentions that Moloch is an owl when in fact he is a bull. The only owl reference that gives a slight piece to it is the goddess Athena in Greek mythology.

#6 Alex Jone said that "a man who rides back to the camp is invited by gay bohemians" does this mean that the NWO is gay order, they are in a pagan group, and slaying one person for the benefit of their own killing pleasure? The methodical question is how are they gay when the government today is fight over gay right between fundamentalist and people who say let gays decide?

So i do give a grade on this review, a one star simply that Alex Jones fails to make connections with dodgy camera inside the bohemian grove. He fails to mention that this is a country club for environmentalist and his hidden camera if it was spy proof can easily see everything, yet half of the video is looking at forest.

alex jones could have spent 24 hours(and indeed he has in other media he has produced)that still wouldn't be enough for spoon-fed americans who can't pry themselves away from their self-centered lifestyle.

This film was a real eye-opening mind-bender when I first saw it. I've only watched the whole film once, for two reasons. 1. As much as I value Alex Jones' information, I find his style grating. (Deduct 1 star) 2. Although I accept the poor image quality, given the circumstances, I felt AJ could have provided much more information, both about the people behind BG and occult symbols' meaning. (Deduct 1 star) The film is rather long on spookiness, but short on interpretation. Jones should have interviewed an ex-Bohemian or Mary Moore of BG Action Network, who has lead protest against this event for more than 25 years.

Some of the obvious questions not asked/answered in the film: Who owns/pays for BG? Who wrote the "Cremation of Dull Care" liturgy? How does the CoDC script compare to Hitler's occult practices. What is the significance of homosexuality in all this? What do the initials PJ stand for, and why/what is he sweeping? What people/groups in Europe are associated with BG. What is the role of Bohemians in relation to the NWO?

One wonders how this sort of innocent fun can be seen as something bad considering the bloody caliber of Leviticus. These people burn an effigy of their sense of worry in order to be able to let loose on a weekend in the woods and have some fun. That is much more respectable than a bunch of old-testament wackjobs slitting the throat of a calf and splattering its blood on the altar.. The reviewer who precedes me needs to take an objective look at their own scripture and compare it to this bohemian grove thing and really give a concise logical reason why we are to support the child-rapist Yahweh instead of enjoying some free play of the universe. (Wont someone please think of the Midianites?!)

There are some reviewers here who seem to think that what goes on at Bohemian Grove is no big deal and just innocent fun. I think that they are missing the point. All of these supposed Christians are engaging in the worship of an idol and mock human sacrifice. The Christian Bible is crystal clear on this topic. Delving into the occult in any way, shape, or form is strictly prohibited. Worship of false gods and self-deification are cornerstones of the Illuminati. The whole idea behind their cause is to achieve "enlightenment" and become "illuminated" like Lucifer. If watching the world's super rich and powerful dress up in hooded gowns, burn human children in effigy, and chant to strange gods doesn't make you raise an eyebrow, nothing will. Religious beliefs aside, the ceremony was strange, macabre, and unsettling. How in the world can anyone watch that tape with the strange cackling, the simulated screams of the burning body, and the odd dress of the participants and chalk it all up to innocent fun? The video quality here was absolutely atrocious but other than that two thumbs up.

I think this is a strange documentary. The strange thing is even the thought of supposedly Christian conservative leaders practicing anything outside Christianity.

Also, the quality is not that good, but watchable I guess.

Totally worthless. Again the Art Bell gang (anyone who has been one of the countless loons on Coast to Coast Am including Jones)try to give us pretty pictures out of context and try to tell us what to think about it.

What was performed was just a high budget campfire ritual. These are performed by many groups throughout history and culture. Heck I did them all the time in Cub Scouts, Webelos, and Boy Scouts. Everytime we went from one level of the fraternity to the next we had a bonfire and ritual where things were burned. I have been part of the "Order of the Arrow" but I sure as heck don't call upon Lucifer for power.

A campfire or bonfire itself is the celebration of life and survival. Even if used as a pyre it is releasing the soul of the dead and helping it along it's journey to the afterlife. The flames themselves were representative of the light and warmth the individual gave off during life to his/her fellow people. (From dust to dust and ashes to ashes.) Fire has meant life since the dawn of man. Without it there would be nothing. It was more important than the invention of the wheel. With it brought safety from the forrest beasts, heat to stay warm, heat to cook food and boil (sterilize) water, and countless other life saving uses. Of course humanity would create ceremony and ritual around this element.

In fact the building of the fire was sacred within itself. First all individuals that were involved would pore ashes of the last fire they attended into the base of the burn pit. Then we would light it up and continue our ceremonies. In the morning when the fire was out we all collected ashes from this fire back into our ash sack. (the PJ character) Thus all fires we were part of become one continues fire. Like an eternal flame?

Shoot my own father used to dress up as countless characters and lead ceremonies. I really don't think my father, a very christian man, ever even thought about worshipping the devil. Every outdoor fraternity has it's own fire ceremony. How it's done is nothing more than a play they repeat for fun and thought to represent the struggles of man over good and evil.

I agree with the previous post. Alex Jones had an opportunity to produce a valid documentary of the happenings in Bohemian Grove. Instead, all he did was produce something that borders on conspiracy theory propaganda. The film was terrible on all levels. The "hidden camera" footage was poor and it was virtually impossible to see the owl that Jones continually alluded to. The final product was poorly edited, and at one point in the film, a dialog box was visible from the editing procedure. Jones was quick to make references to the "New World Order", but failed to draw any conclusive correlations between the ritual he filmed and his claims that Bohemian Club members are attempting to rule the world. Furthermore, Jones refers to the ritual he filmed as "illegal". What laws were being violated? All Jones proved is that there is a ritual that takes place under giant owl at the Bohemian Grove; that is not an illegal activity in the United States. The film ends with Jones outside the Governorâs Mansion in Texas protesting with one other activist and screaming into a bullhorn. This film speaks more to Jones lack of any journalistic integrity and lack of any education than it does to anything that goes on at the Bohemian Grove.

I downloaded this movie because I am fascinated with conspiracy theories, occult panic and various oddities of society. I had enjoyed Alex Jones' ranting on September 11th, and even found some of them thought provoking. But with "Dark Secrets" Jones only succeeds in creating a boring 2+ documentary that has no substance at all, as if they assume that the audience will automatically buy into the NWO theories just because some politicans like to play dress up.

The whole film is predicated on the idea that is it not good for politicians to be dressing up and acting out a strange ritual. The "weirdness" is really the only thing Jones is able to go on as there does not appear to be anything truely sinister about the ritual he tapes. Sure, he speculates that maybe the effigy is really a corpse, be he doesn't even try to prove that. He seems to think the ritual is evil just because it has elements of pagan rites. I wonder how he would feel about going to a Catholic church.

Near the end of the film, Alex Jones claims that they did "extensive research" on the occult. It sure doesn't show as they hop onto only a handful of elements and bring them up over and over without even explaining their signifigance. For instance, Jones refers to the owl statue as Moloch thoughout the film, not even able to correctly pronouce the name for the first half, and does not offer any information to what Moloch was, thus not giving the audience any reason to doubt Alex's authority. And what was the point of pointing out "PJ the Demon" so many times without even offering an explination of the illustration? (Looks like an artist's signiture to me).

Also, the film is just a mess on a technical and pacing level. The first have is Jones taping himself being a fighter against the NWO, then we are treated to extremely boring hidden camera footage of the camp ground (which looks like any other camp ground), and then we sit though two versions of the Cremation of Care ritual, the first one being raw footage, the second being enhanced. The film ends with Jones acting like a true lunatic by yelling about G.W. Bush being an occultist though a megaphone on the sidewalk. This film could have been edited down to 45 minutes and have been more effective.

Bohemian Grove is an interesting subject, but this film makes it seem like the dullest conspiracy theory of all time. I'm giving it two stars only because its entertaining at times, even if those moments are few and very far between.

Texas based journalist ALEX JONES has infiltrated into the Bohemian Grove and secretly video-taped a bizarre, satanic and babylonian ritual called "The Cremation Of Care". In the religious ritual, an effigy of a bound body is thrown in the fire. The video "Dark Secrets Inside Bohemian Grove" is only therefore allready a must-see, as it contains these recordings.
